ABOUT
Sarah Felis (she/they) is a queer, disabled, working-class, photographer from Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, UK.
As a disabled, neurodivergent individual, Sarah uses photography as a medium to soothe their isolation and to be challenged socially. Their camera is a tool used to escape the monotony of daily life as a disabled person and help to expand beyond some of the social limitations such a life can cause.
They are self-taught, with a particular focus and interest in marginalised identities, continuing a lifelong interest in psychology & sociology. Sarah connects with models using their experience as a model themselves, combined with their experience as a photographer, to highlight and exhibit unique ways of living and existing.
